If you're reading this, I'm in serious trouble. Most of my social media accounts, if not all of them, are being watched, so I'm writing this on my website, the only place I can keep a message publicly available, but hidden.
Some of you may know me as "the guy who used AI in two Undertale projects". That's because I was that guy, but also not, and I mean that as literally as possible. I'm not talking about impersonation, but blackmail.
In case you didn't know, I was part of two Undertale project teams: Undertale Wildfire and Floweytale. I was the lead musician for Floweytale and a regular musician for Wildfire, eventually becoming a writer and the lead musician for Wildfire. However, around October of 2025, a new musician on the Floweytale team accused me of using AI
A few months into both projects, I got a Discord message from someone who initially presented themselves as BoznU78. In a single message, they got straight to the point. They had almost all of my personal information, most notably my IP address, my full debit card details, my phone number, and the last 4 digits of my social security number, claiming to have the rest of my social security. They presented some other "personal information" about me that was completely wrong, but the rest was scarily accurate. I don't know how they got what they got, I don't know why they chose me, and I still have no idea who this person is, but they've made their terms and requirements very clear, threatening to leak my personal information if I don't do their bidding.
This happened about a year and a half ago, maybe two if you round up. I was working at my local Burger King on my break when I got the message, the only people I told being a select few night crew employees and managers. I never told my family about it because I didn't want them to panic or get mad at me for potentially exposing our house address, as I was still living with them at the time. They still don't know about this, and I don't want them to until I can get this situation resolved. I plan to take legal action if I can ever identify the blackmailer, and the last thing I want is for my family to get involved, especially my sister, who I'm sharing an appartment with and is therefor also at risk of getting her living space doxxed. I don't want any of them to panic.
The moment I got home from work, I took as many safety precautions as I could, like canceling my debit card, changing my passwords, and contacting any authotires I could.
For the last year and a half or so, I've been under the manipulated by someone I can only describe as a masterful hacker with some sort of extremist agenda, likely something spiteful specifically against the project I was a part of, the UTDR community, and/or the game itself. I'll get to that in a moment.
Keeping this as short as I can, I was part of two Undertale project teams: Undertale Wildfire and Floweytale. I was the lead musician of Floweytale and a regular musician in Wildfire, eventually becoming a writer and the lead musician for Wildfire, a position that probably didn't belong to me, regardless of this situation happening or not, in hindsight.
At the punishment of getting my personal information leaked and my house doxxed for even the tiniest act of subordination, this fucker essentially had (and still has) some sort of twisted AI agenda to spread, and they wanted to use me as their puppet. Or at least, spreading an agenda is one of the possible motivations behind their screen, because I think their obsession with it was only a tool for something much bigger or specific. More theories on this later.
This happened while I was still working my job at Burger King. The whole thing got me shaken up, and I was too afraid to bring this up to anyone because 1) I didn't really know most of the people on my shift that day very well and 2) the threat of losing my legal identity and privacy was so nerve-racking that I didn't even dare think about bringing it up to someone, which was silly, given there were people there I trusted not to spill the tea. Eventually, though, one of the managers noticed I was distressed, I explained the situation, and I went home a little early to resolve the problem as best I could. I didn't tell my family because I didn't want them to panic or get mad at me for potentially exposing our house address. They still don't know about this, and I don't want them to until I can get this situation resolved.
The first thing I did when I got home, of course, was cancel my debit card, where I later found out the person had access to my whole ACCOUNT after they did two $114 transfers to some account with no eligible name, just random letters. I tried contacting various authorities about this, but as willing to help as they were, there was just no lead regarding who the person was. The most I could do was keep the authorities updated whenever I learned something new, but I rarely did that because this person was hiding their tracks well. They would directly call me with burner numbers from various US states and would create a new account each time they wanted to contact me through Discord, deleting their previous one under new names. Even after the authorities identified potential email addresses belonging to the blackmailer, it's not like those told us much. I had no other choice but to comply, at least appealing to the terms until I could figure out a plan.
